Wonderful pub that has always had a decent selection of real ale. The decor is amazing – a fabulous pub.
It was taken over by Gordon Ramsay in 2007, and re-opened as 'The Warrington' in February 2008. I've not been since, but I hear that the proper pub downstairs is still in good form. Ben's Thai restaurant upstairs has been replaced by a swanky modern British affair.
(It may well not be dog-friendly any more, I really should check.)
