A proper pub.
Kevin, the landlord, is a real character who runs his place very much his way; he enforces the no-mobiles rule with gusto, and it's a more pleasant place for it.
The Adnams ales are always in very good shape and I think this is the best pint of Broadside I've ever had outside of Southwold (it's neck-and-neck between here and Roxy Beaujolais' Seven Stars).
